Abstract:
In the 21st Century, social, economic, environmental and healthcare challenges have become increasingly complex and intertwined with each other. Social innovation and entrepreneurship offer powerful frameworks for driving transformative change.

In this talk, Rebecca will make use of real-world examples, illustrating how social innovation and entrepreneurship can tackle pressing issues like health inequity, ageing populations, etc, and assess their outcomes and impacts. She will inspire the audience to think outside the box and explore how future leaders may address pressing societal needs to shape a healthier, more equitable future, both within Hong Kong and beyond.

Professor Rebecca CHOY
– Founding Chair, Golden Age Foundation
– Adjunct Professor, Department of Social Work and Social Administration, HKU
