Background

Jennifer Docherty is pursuing a PhD in psychedelic studies under the supervision of Professor Alex Gearin and Professor Peter Tanuseputro. She is investigating psilocybin for existential distress in patients with serious illness from a health policy and clinician attitudes perspective; as well as end-of-life care. Jennifer has a MSc in applied neuroscience from King’s College London and a BSc in fashion merchandising management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, achieving top honours in both degrees. Jennifer also judges, teaches, and speaks about wine and sake. She is one of only three masters of wine in Hong Kong.
