You are invited to GAME MANIA: Health Seekers Educational Board Game Event – a fun, interactive way to learn about health inequalities and practice empathy in healthcare.
Health Seekers is a board game designed by a group of HKU medical, nursing, global health and development students, based on real cases in the community. Through role-play and storytelling, players explore:
- How social, economic and environmental factors shape people’s health
- The challenges faced by individuals in vulnerable situations
- Empathy, communication and understanding in healthcare settings
Games are available in English or Chinese on the day.

- Date: Thursday, 5 March 2026
- Time: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm (start any time during the session with a group of four)
- Venue: Learning Commons, 2/F, William Mong Block, 21 Sassoon Road
- Audience: HKUMed students, teachers and staff members
- Group size: 4 players per game
- Play time: Approximately 40–90 minutes
