Asia Pacific Medical Humanities & the Arts Summit

This virtual gathering is designed as a kind of intellectual “commons” for the field, bringing together scholars, health care workers, artists, and educators working at the intersections of medicine, narrative, ethics, technology, and the human experience.

4 themed sessions across two half-days:

• Unsung Stories
• Connecting Past and Present
• Staying Human

Session structure: 4-5 speakers per session giving “lightning talks”, followed by a Q&A

Taking place virtually, October 14-16, 2026, convened across the Asia-Pacific region by a committee representing Stanford University and the University of Hong Kong.
