Most Innovative Teacher of the Year – Mr Samson Wong

Mr Ki Sum Samson Wong, Assistant Lecturer in the Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit, was recently awarded “Most Innovative Teacher of the Year” in Asia by Times Higher Education (THE). He is also the inaugural winner of the newly introduced category honoring individual contributions.

By using digital visual technology in the medical humanities classes, he enabled HKUMed MBBS year 2 students to experience the anticipatory grief of patients’ loved ones.
