MH Conversations and Connections Series

The Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit is pleased to announce the programme for our MH Conversations and Connections Series, scheduled between October and December 2025.

We have invited speakers from diverse backgrounds to explore a wide range of topics. These include an exploration of how extreme sports can inform mental toughness and well-being in healthcare professionals and patients alike; a discussion about disease as a metaphor in Sinomedical film, literature, and culture; an exploration of human creativity at the intersection of music and medicine; and a sharing of two work and life experiences from HKUMed colleagues.
