You are warmly invited to a special humanitarian talk featuring Dr Au Yiu Kai, a distinguished HKUMed alumnus and recipient of the Hong Kong Humanity Award, who will share powerful reflections from his 23 years of overseas humanitarian service, including his recent medical mission in Gaza.

Since 2002, Dr Au has attended 29 overseas humanitarian missions with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Médecins Sans Frontières, serving in regions including Gaza, Iraq, Yemen, Ukraine, and 11 declared war zones.

Following Dr Au sharing, a break-out session with invited healthcare professionals will explore broader themes such as ethics in humanitarian setting, medical outreach, and the social responsibilities of medical professionals.
