The unknown (what it feels like to enter medical school)
55 word essay
White coat ceremony 2019
Thrown into the deep end
Left to flounder
Until I don’t know what’s up or down or left or right
or wrong.
A lifeline — I grip it
Wouldn’t it be easier to just let go?
But then the blue of the deep-sea bursts into one of the sky
And now I can breathe.
