Abstract:
In this engaging and interactive session, we will explore the transformative power of Person-Centered Care (PCC) in modern healthcare. MEHU is privileged to have a patient and one of his doctors sharing their personal insights on the significance of patients being treated as whole persons rather than just a set of complicated health conditions. Together, we will delve into common misconceptions surrounding PCC, the barriers to its implementation, and the vital role patients and providers can play in shaping a truly collaborative healthcare environment. Join us to learn how to transcend the clichés and foster genuine partnerships in care, ensuring that patient voice is heard and valued in the holistic but tailored healing process.
