Abstract:
The Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit is inviting you to a special lunchtime seminar on the ethics of hereditary gene editing, specifically focusing on the He Jiankui affair. In this interactive sharing session, Prof. Danny Chan, Dr. Ria Sinha, and Dr. Zohar Lederman will discuss the science, societal aspects, and ethics of the affair, inviting students to consider whether and when scientific advancement should be limited by ethical and societal considerations.
